  5. To add a Bookmarks menu to VNCThing, save bookmark files into this folder. This will allow you quick access to the servers you use most frequently.

  7. Note that VNCThing will not save passwords to bookmark files. If you want to save the password within a bookmark file, you must edit it with a text editor and add the password field. Some text editors, such as BBEdit, will open bookmark files as if they were text files.

  9. To add a password to a bookmark file, connect to the server and save a bookmark. Open the bookmark file with a text editor, and (assuming your password is “squiggle”) add a line which reads “Password=squiggle” at the end of the file (without the quotes).
